中国留学基金委 (CSC) 对申请人英语水平有以下要求：
雅思
总分不低于 6.0 分
单项成绩不低于 5.5 分
托福
总分不低于 80 分
单项成绩不低于 20 分
其他英语考试
CSC 也接受其他英语考试成绩，包括：
PTE 学术英语考试（总分不低于 58 分，各单项不低于 54 分）
C1 高级英语证书（总分不低于 176 分）
剑桥高级英语证书（总分不低于 180 分）
英语免试
符合以下条件的申请人可以免除英语考试：
外语专业毕业生：英语成绩达到良好或优秀
英语授课研究生毕业生：研究生阶段全程使用英语授课
在英语国家留学一年以上：攻读学位或参加交流项目
注意事项
英语考试成绩有效期为 2 年。
申请人需要在申请材料中提交英语考试成绩原件或成绩单。
